On Veterans Day, we give 100% to those that gave 100% first

BUBS Naturals, as a company, is a lot of things: generally good looking, funny, quick with the gifs, and maybe a bit snarky on Instagram. But on Veterans Day, we are particularly proud of two primary attributes: BUB himself and our commitment to charity.

BUBS Naturals is named after Navy SEAL Glen ‘BUB’ Doherty, childhood friend of BUBS co-founder Sean Lake, and one of the brave Americans heroically killed in Benghazi, Libya in 2012. The very ethos of BUBS Naturals centers around the passionate and adventure seeking life that Glen lived. With that aim, our goal at BUBS is to exceed expectations in everything we do, starting with our Collagen and MCT Oil Powder and how we continue to ensure that if it has Glen’s name on, it must be the absolute best of the best.

The story of BUBS Naturals started in a kitchen, and one of the first things we decided was that we would be, first and foremost, a charitable company. We have never deviated from that commitment. With every sale we make, we donate 10% of profit to the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation, whose mission is to “ease the transition from military life and work to that of a civilian by helping fund educational costs for Special Operation individuals and their children.”

But, on Veterans Day, we mix it up a bit. Instead of the 10%, we donate 100% of all profits to the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation.

“I’m grateful to all Americans who have laid down their lives so we can know freedom and our American way of life. I’m grateful for Glen’s way, his way of connecting so many good people together. I have friends now through Glen that I would not have known without him. He blended Massholes, ski bums, and Navy SEALs seamlessly. And I was lucky enough to be connected to each of these special groups,” Sean said.

This Veterans Day, know that every sale you make - from collagen to coffee cups to crop tops - goes to an organization that we are proud to support, thanks to a man that we are proud to memorialize in everything we do.
