Collagen Protein Turkey Chili

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 lbs extra lean ground turkey

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 8 oz chicken broth

  • 5 scoops Bubs Naturals protein powder

  • 15 oz tomato sauce

  • 15 oz crushed tomatoes

  • 15 oz can black beans, drained & rinsed

  • 15 oz kidney beans, drained & rinsed

  • 15 oz chili beans

  • 2 tsp ancho chili powder

  • 2 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tbsp dried chives

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Add ground turkey and onion to large skillet. Stir occasionally and saute on medium-high heat until turkey is cooked through.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk chicken broth with collagen protein.

  3. Next, add tomatoes, tomato sauce, and all beans to large pot.

  4. Stir in broth/collagen protein mixture into large pot.

  5. Add remaining spices.

  6. Turn to high heat and bring mixture to a boil. Reduce to simmer and serve warm.
