2026 Crossfit Legends Championship

04/27/2026 By Kolby Seemann

The 2026 Legends Championship brought a big weekend of CrossFit to Del Mar, California, and for us at BUBS, it felt especially meaningful to be part of it.

As one of the official in-person CrossFit Semifinals on the 2026 season calendar, Legends hosted both Individual and Masters divisions, bringing high-level competition and serious energy to Southern California. It marked an important stop in the road to the next stage of the CrossFit season and gave athletes a chance to compete for qualifying spots in one of the sport’s most important moments of the year.

What made the weekend even more special for us was how close it was to home. With Del Mar just down the road from our HQ in Encinitas, the Legends Championship felt like a hometown event for the BUBS team. There was something special about seeing that level of competition and community show up right here in our own backyard.

That connection felt even more real this year because some of our team participated in the CrossFit Open themselves. Having taken part in the season in our own way, it made supporting an event like Legends feel that much more personal. The Open kicked off the 2026 CrossFit Games season in late February, followed by Quarterfinals and then Semifinals, so by the time Legends arrived, athletes were stepping into one of the biggest stages of the season.

Throughout the weekend, Legends delivered exactly the kind of atmosphere that makes CrossFit events so compelling — high effort, strong community, and a real sense of purpose behind every performance. It was a reminder of what makes this sport special, from the intensity on the competition floor to the connection shared across athletes, fans, and the broader fitness community.

For us, weekends like this are always meaningful. The Legends Championship brought together so much of what we love about the CrossFit world: grit, resilience, performance, and community. Getting to see that up close, so close to home, made it even better.
